Primozone pilot study presented at NORDIWA today

At NORDIWA, the Nordic Wastewater conference in Bergen, Norway several studies on the removal of micropollutants from our wastewater will be presented.

Among the speakers is Filip Nilsson, Ind. Ph.D. Student at Primozone who is holding a presentation called "Pilot-scale study of pharmaceutical reduction with ozone in 10 Swedish WWTP ́s". This study was initiated by Primozone, used Primozone ozone technology and financed by Tillväxtverket (Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth).

The prevalence of micropollutants in our wastewater is a hot topic in Europe. This due to the fact that today’s biological wastewater treatment plants are not built to remove micropollutants.

At Primozone we work actively with this problem as ozone is known as one of the most efficient technologies for removal of pharmaceutical residue and other micropollutants from wastewater.
