Record Union unveils brand new visual identity

The look of Record Union is remixed and digitally remastered. With Head of Design, Henrik Rosander on-board Record Union decided to lay each and every bit of the identity out on a 48 channel mixing board, wired it to our brand and marketing platforms, turned the amplifier to 11, drained it with multi-colored stage light, poured some sugar on it and hoped for the best.

The logo dog, Hef, wanted to stay. Though, they sent him to the doggy stylist to get his fur and clawz done - and the result is overwhelming. He’s not sad looking anymore, in fact he now makes all kind of expressions.

- When we revised our brand strategy we realized that we also needed to re-design our visual identity, in order to reflect a more complex and stronger offer, says Head of Design Henrik Rosander.

- Our mission is to enable and boost artists’ careers – with the vision to lead transformation of the music industry, making it fully transparent and democratic for artists and rights holders. With the new identity, which is playful, dynamic and versatile, we are well prepared to meet future challenges, he continues.
