Press release -

EOLE-RES third largest wind energy producer in the French market

To conclude the 5th edition of the National French Wind Energy Conference, held on October 2nd in Paris, FEE (French Wind Energy Association) unveiled the publication of a Wind Energy Report, conducted in partnership with consulting firm BearingPoint.
The report draws up an inventory based on a field survey of French companies active in the wind energy sector, according to two criteria: career opportunities and the wind energy market.

The conclusions and numbers reflect the upturn in activity in the wind sector in 2014. In addition, the report establishes a classification of wind energy producers in France.
According to this ranking, among the hundreds of active developers in France, EOLE-RES comes in at 3rd place (with a total of 380 MW in operation) behind the two major French utilities, EDF Energies Nouvelles (650 MW) and GDF Suez (1000 MW - including its subsidiaries).

This national ranking is complemented by strong regional performances. Moreover, the study shows that EOLE -RES is positioned, in terms of installed capacity, as follows:

-  1st in Bourgogne

-  2nd in Rhône-Alpes

-  2nd in Languedoc-Roussillon

-  2nd in Champagne-Ardenne

Matthieu Guérard, Managing Director at EOLE-RES, stated:

“We are very happy and proud of this 3rd place. This success marks the recognition of our expertise and our commitment in boosting the wind energy sector, reflects the strength of our teams and finally demonstrates the continuing growth of EOLE-RES. Our goal is to continue this trend and also to meet the challenge of energy independence in France through renewable energy.”
