Joint efforts for fire safety

RISE Research Institutes of Sweden and Efectis Group has signed a mutual Memorandum of Understanding in order to jointly support sustainable fire safety and fire research in society contributing with top-level expertise and innovation to industry, regulators, universities and other stakeholders on a worldwide basis.

RISE Research Institutes of Sweden is an independent research institute offering a wide spectrum of top-level expertise, research and innovation services as well as cross-border competence to industry, academia and public sector. RISE is fully owned by the Swedish state.

RISE Fire Research department is active in research, Fire Safety Engineering, support to national and international legislation, off-shore safety, risk analysis, testing, certification, inspection and so on. The department works globally.

Efectis

Efectis is a European company specialized in fire safety and rescue. The activities of Efectis initially started with fire resistance and fire reaction laboratories dedicated to the qualification of buildings and infrastructures’ materials, products and systems. Efectis has activities in fire safety engineering (FSE), national and international training and courses, standardization, regulation, rescue, planning, management and command of fire and rescue incidents.

Efectis is present in France, The Netherlands, Turkey, UK, Spain and Morocco, and aspires to grow and expand geographically.
