Grasshoppers, AIK and Swedish National Team player Kim Nilsson will play Salming shoes, sticks and apparel the upcoming 3 years. The co-operation started already during 2014 with Salmings Floorball sticks and has now been deepened to incorporate both shoes and apparel.
”We started our co-operation during 2014 when Salming developed a special edition floorball stick that was launched during the World Championships held in Gothenburg, Sweden. After that we have continued to develop that stick to become what you can buy in stores today, a refined version of the original model - Salming Q1 KickZone Kim Nilsson Limited Edition” says Kim. ”I am really satisfied with the performance of Salmings products and to be a part of their development team. With that as a back drop deepening the already existing co-operation was a no-brainer” Kim continues.

To now further deepen the relationship with Kim is really exiting” says Thomas Nord, Head of Marketing & Design at Salming. ”Kim is one of those rare players that with his persona and professional skills really attracts the consumer, and and at the end of the day, creates a real demand for our products. When we launched his special edition floorball stick Salming Q1 KickZone Kim Nilsson Limited Edition during the WC held on our home turf, we sold out in a couple of weeks” Thomas continues.
"As part of Salmings product development team, Kim is testing blades, sticks and shoes and provide us with valuable feedback. Salmings upcoming new indoor shoe - Kobra - is a good example of how this co-operation works. In the initial phase of the project we sat down together and debriefed Kim on what he want to see in a performance floorball shoe." says Thomas.
The Kobra, which is yet to be launched (Summer 2016) will together with Salmings already existing indoor shoes Race and Viper form a very competitive lineup come 1617 season.
