SANDQVIST OPENS FLAGSHIP STORE IN BERLIN

Stockholm based bag and accessory brand Sandqvist continue to win ground with their popular range of minimalist and functional products. Swedish architect Fredrik Nilsby at Dawn of Ideas has design the new store, including handmade furniture built by Tobias Fjällström. The Berlin store will be located on Weinmeisterstraße 9B, in the heart of Mitte, and the 120m2 space filled with Scandinavian designs makes it the brand’s biggest store yet. 

Berlin has been on our minds since opening in London spring 2016. Germany being one of our largest markets, it was an easy choice. Berlin in particular has a very nice vibe, with great people to whom we want to show our whole range of products and what we’re about to. We’re super excited to invite Berliners into the Sandqvist world!

The Berlin flagship store carries the whole range of Sandqvist products, alongside extra releases introduced later this autumn. This fall, Sandqvist want to give customers the opportunity to learn more about the brand’s sustainability work, with an offering of organic and recycled materials, and opening the acknowledged Repair Shop in the beginning of 2018 (to read more about the Repair shop, please visit www.sandqvist.net/care).

Caring for the environment has always been an important part of our work. We use sustainable and high-quality materials, the bag you buy will last long and if it breaks it can usually be fixed easily. Now anyone living in or visiting Berlin can pop by the store to learn more about the collection and the materials we use.

The Sandqvist Flagship store in Berlin opened its doors on Weinmeisterstrasse 9B in October.
