Successful Hannover Messe

Our participation at the Hannover messe really paid off! We were located in the center of hall 26, the ComVac hall where focus were on compressors, compressor accessories and vacuum systems. We met with a lot of interested potential customers, met with old customers and visited new and potential customers in their stands for interesting discussions. Almost all compressor manufacturers showed great interest in Airec’s compact technology for cooling of compressed air.

The five day´s went fast even though the days were long!

The Hannover Messe is one of the world's largest trade fairs. Typically, there are about 6,500 exhibitors and 250,000 visitors.

The Hannover Messe started in 1947 in an undamaged factory building in Laatzen, south of Hanover, by an arrangement of the British military government in order to boost the economic advancement of post-war Germany. The first fair was colloquially known as Fischbrötchenmesse (Fischbrötchen fair) due to the exemptions in food rationing for the fair at this time. It proved hugely successful and was hence repeated on a yearly basis, contributing largely to the success of the Hanover fairground in replacing the then-East German city of Leipzig as the new major fair city for West Germany.

Nowadays, the Hanover Fair covers all areas of industrial technology.

Of the show's 225,000 attendees (up from 217,000 in 2015 as the most recent comparable event), more than 75,000 came from abroad. The largest number of foreign visitors came from China (9,000), followed by the Netherlands (6,200), India (5,300) and Poland, whose 5,000 visitors set a new Partner Country record.
