Ny VD i teknikbolaget Airec

Michael Bäärnhielm blir från 2 oktober ny vd för teknikbolaget Airec i Malmö då grundaren Sven Persson går i pension. Sven Persson kvarstår som delägare och går även in som vice styrelseordförande och rådgivare till bolaget. Bland övriga storägare finns Industrifonden och tyska Innogy Venture Capital.

Airec utvecklar och säljer asymmetriska plattvärmeväxlare till applikationer där konventionella plattvärmeväxlare inte kan användas. Bolaget befinner sig i en mycket expansiv fas och har nyligen brutit igenom med sin teknologi på ett antal viktiga och växande marknader.

Michael Bäärnhielm har en bakgrund från tyska teknikkoncernen Bürkert men har även varit med och grundat bolaget Strainlabs AB. Med lång erfarenhet från flera B2B-företag kommer Michael arbeta vidare med att stärka Airec’s position på marknaden och samtidigt anpassa produktionsapparaten efter det ökade behovet.

On October 2:nd, Michael Bäärnhielm takes on the position as CEO of the high-tech company Airec in Malmö as the founder Sven Persson retires. Sven Persson remains as part owner and also acts as vice chairman and senior adviser. Other major shareholders include Industrifonden and German Innogy Venture Capital.

Airec develops and produces asymmetric plate heat exchangers for applications where conventional plate heat exchangers cannot be used. The company is in a very expansive phase and has recently made several breakthroughs with its technology in a number of important and growing application areas.

Michael Bäärnhielm has a background from the German technology company Bürkert but has also been one of the founders of Strainlabs AB. With long experience from several B2B companies, Michael will continue the work to strengthen Airec's position in the market while adapting the production capacity to the increased market demand.
