#myaltran // Meet our colleague Ted Henriksson

At Cevt in Gothenburg you will find our colleague Ted Henriksson where he is busy working with proof of concept for ADAS/AD algorithms.

For Ted, cars are a big passion, when he's not at work he is making sure that the cars of the future are getting better and safer, and he likes to stay at Microfabriken, a Makers Space, where he is building car parts and furniture.

What did you do before you found Altran?

I studied computer technology with a focus on Secure and dependable computer systems at Chalmers here in Gothenburg. Before then I was at Delphi, where I worked with Big data and active safety.

What is exciting about working with AD/ADAS?

We always encounter new challenges, as the reality is not as well-organized as the digital world, but a bit disorganized and analogous, providing space for a lot of problem solving to try and get the car to understand our human reality.

In particular, I look forward to being able to go to bed and sleep in the backseat and wake up in the alps, it's fun to be a part of that revolution.

Why did you choose to start working at Altran?

I did not necessarily want to work as a consultant, but some friends who were already working at Altran were really enjoying their employment. They were pleased with Altran as a company, but also with the ability to test different industries and assignments.

When I met with Altran and realized that, they also developed products and services to their customers, I immediately became curious. Among other things, we talked about our end-to-end solution, Vueforge, which helps companies manage IoT and Big Data, which seemed very exciting to work with.

My Team at Altran consists exclusively of other people working with the same thing as I do, but with assignments at other companies in the industry. This makes it possible to always have a great dialogue and support at Altran, it is quite easy to figure out what we are talking about at our lunch meetings and after works.
