ABI-företaget CELLFAB tar steget ut i världen

Nu tar den innovativa armering stegen in i affärsvärlden och ut på den internationella 
marknaden. Därmed är inkubatortiden över och Cellfab lämnar ABI, Arctic Business
Incubator.

Svensk Cellarmering Fabrik AB, Cellfab, har sedan start 2011 utvecklat kärnprodukten,
Cellarmeringen, och paketerat den för framtidens byggindustri.

Allt började när grundaren Johan Persson från Töre kom till ABI, för att få hjälp att förverkliga sin unika armering och få ut den på marknaden. Produkten bedömdes ha stora möjligheter i sin bransch och en världsmarknad framför sig. Bolaget lyckades redan inom ett år från start attrahera investerare som kunde säkra bolagets framtid genom att bygga teamet och starta produktionen. Utveckling och färdigställande av beräkningsmodell tog produkten från testlab till byggindustrin. Inom ett halvår var det första kompletta huset byggt med den nya Cellarmeringen, vilket sedan exporterades till Surinam. Projektet gav bolaget grundläggande förutsättning att kunna fortsätta med expansionsplanen och ett halvår senare skrev Cellfab på sitt första Licensavtal för den Saudiska marknaden.

- Vi ser ljust på framtiden och har genom ABI fått tillgång till många goda kontakter och klokheter, säger Kiano Mottaghian som varit med som VD sedan starten av bolaget.

Under tiden i ABI har bolaget och dess idé väckt mycket uppmärksamhet i media genom NyTeknik, Byggvärlden och lokalpress men också genom att den vunnit priser och utmärkelser bland andra Venture Cup och Nordic Clean Tech Open. 

– Vi är glada att det gått så bra och önskar Cellfab lycka till med den fortsatta expansionen i nästa kontinent, säger Jens Lundström VD ABI.

Fakta om armeringen;

Cellarmeringen kan förutom betong även armera asfalt och andra material. Styrkan med armeringen är att länkstrukturen som ökar armeringens seghet och möjligheten att använda höghållfast stål, ger det en större lastförmåga.

ABI-company CELLFAB enters the global arena

Now the innovative reinforcement company is stepping forwards into the business world and out onto the international market. Its time in the incubator is thereby over and Cellfab is leaving ABI, the Arctic Business Incubator.

Since start-up in 2011, Svensk Cellarmering Fabrik AB, Cellfab, has been developing its core product, cell reinforcement, and packaging it for the construction industry of the future.

It all began when the founder, Johan Persson from Töre, came to ABI to get help in developing his unique reinforcement and getting it onto the market. The product was deemed to have big potential in the industry and was heading for the world markets. Within a year of start-up, the company had already attracted investors who could secure the company’s future by building the team and starting production. Development and completion of computational models took the product from the test lab to the construction industry. Within half a year, the first complete house had been built with the new cell reinforcement, and was exported to Surinam. The project gave the company the basic requisites to be able to continue with its expansion plan, and a further half year later,

Cellfab signed its first license agreement for the Saudi Arabian market.

”We are confident about the future and through ABI we have been put in touch with plenty of good contacts and expertise,” says Kiano Mottaghian, who has been with the company as CEO since the start-up.

During its time in the ABI incubator, the company and its idea have attracted a good deal of media attention through specialised periodicals such as NyTeknik and Byggvärlden, and the local press; Cellfab has won prizes and awards that include Venture Cup and Nordic Clean Tech Open.

“We are pleased that it has gone so well and we wish Cellfab all the best in their continued expansion on the next continent,” says Jens Lundström, Managing Director of ABI.

Facts about reinforcement:

Besides concrete, cell reinforcement can reinforce asphalt and other materials. The big advantage of the reinforcement is that the link structure, which further toughens the reinforcement and allows the use of high-strength steel, gives it a greater load-bearing capacity.
