EurotaxGlass’s launches new business unit Automotive Intelligence & Consulting (AIC)

As part of wider organisational changes, EurotaxGlass’s (ETG) has simplified its organisational structure and devolved a range of central functions to its regional and country organisations. ETG’s CarToMarket and Consulting business has been transferred to the newly created business unit Automotive Intelligence & Consulting (AIC) and ETG Global Services will be wound down. AIC’s objectives include expanding ETG’s range of consulting and intelligence services and providing easier access to ETG data and insights. The newly created business unit will also manage TCO and spot price-based solutions targeted at manufacturers and importers and fleet & finance companies. ETG has appointed Dr. Christof Engelskirchen as Managing Director of AIC. Steffen Schick, former head of ETG Global Services, has been appointed Chief Strategy Officer and will help sharpen ETG’s strategic positioning.

Dr. Christof Engelskirchen, 38, has been appointed Managing Director of Automotive Intelligence & Consulting (AIC). In his previous position, Christof Engelskirchen was responsible for the product management of ETG’s Manufacturer and Importer Product sector. Prior to joining EurotaxGlass’s in April 2009 Christof Engelskirchen worked for 7 years in a leading strategy consulting firm.

Steffen Schick, 48, joined EurotaxGlass’s in October 2008 to head EurotaxGlass’s Global Services division, and was appointed Chief Product Officer (CPO) in 2012. Prior to joining the Group Steffen held the position of Chief Operation Officer (COO) with Fleet Logistics International, a European fleet management company (TÜV SÜD group). Before that, Steffen gained twelve years of management consulting experience with a leading strategy consulting firm.
