BearingPoint acquires leading international supply chain and business operations consultancy LCP Consulting

Stockholm, March 14, 2017 – Management and technology consultancy BearingPoint has acquired UK-based LCP Consulting, the leading international specialist consultancy in customer-driven supply chain management. With this transaction, two highly profitable and award-winning companies join forces. Bringing LCP on board deepens BearingPoint’s operations service line and expands its capabilities in the retail, consumer goods, and manufacturing industries. The acquisition adds six of the top ten UK retailers and a substantial number of top European organizations to its client list. In addition, LCP brings a suite of strategic supply chain management tools and fact-based methodologies to BearingPoint’s portfolio.

BearingPoint is continuously adding capabilities and geographic coverage, and the acquisition of LCP is the latest in a series of acquisitions that BearingPoint started making three years ago. Previously acquired teams include manufacturing experts in Italy, a leading digital management consultancy in the Nordics, operational performance specialists in the UK and management and reporting specialists in Germany.

“LCP is a recognised leader in their field and the acquisition of such a high calibre consultancy fully supports our growth strategy in both the UK and internationally.”

Peter Mockler, Managing Partner BearingPoint

“Joining BearingPoint will enable LCP to accelerate our growth plans within a range of industry sectors both in the UK and internationally. We are keen to leverage BearingPoint’s wider capabilities, notably in digital, for the benefit of our existing client base. Becoming part of a leading international consulting organisation opens up new personal development and career opportunities for our people.”

John Lockton, Managing Director LCP Consulting

“Joining forces with LCP allows us to accelerate our growth plans in retail and supply chain within the UK consulting market. I am really excited by the opportunities that this merger of two award winning consultancies will open for us and our clients.”

James Rodger, Regional Leader for UK and Ireland BearingPoint
