Klara Hedengren and Lisa Lindh for Massproduktions. In our collaboration with Massproductions we have considered what defines a piece of furniture.
Sustainability has been our main focus throughout the entire design process, and Kolonn is made of 100% cellulose fibres with no toxic additives. How can we create a beautiful object using a new material? In our design we have chosen to experiment with the material and to experiment with the qualities of the material and the fact that it is lightweight, flexible and stable. This has resulted in a room divider for public spaces inspired by architectonic environments and artists like Natasha Perova and Louise Bourgeois. Kolonn is an object between sculpture that can both divide and create new spaces.
