Automation solutions for additive manufacturing

Digital Service Assistant – new service app
The Digital Service Assistant provides you with fast help when you need service. You can use our service hotline, replacement parts and repairs directly in a production environment via smart device. The app provides a high level of usability and makes it easy to identify components being used. A query of a machine’s status information enables the right steps to be taken and all relevant data to be directly transmitted. The simple registration process of Rexroth components via app optimizes service availability.
Technology study: Transport system of the future
Bosch Rexroth is currently conducting a study on an innovative transport and handling system. The technology based on magnetic levitation has exceptional qualities that could revolutionize the factory of the future. Components can be transported gently, quietly and smoothly on carriers with six degrees of freedom and 360° endless rotation at a variable height of up to 20 mm – without any heat generation on the surface.

The integrated camera can even recognize inaccurately supplied parts. Beyond that the camera can be used for a track and trace function which allows components and assembly units to be assigned directly to their production steps.
