Investment from Inventive Ventures will significantly strengthen and support mcare’s position to develop opportunities within the current Nordic markets. mcare has already grown its Nordic presence in 2019 by opening 12 new locations, strengthening its management team, and is now expanding to Norwegian markets.

Joel Mansnerus, the founder:

”Markets appear and show very positively for us at the moment, and there are substantial growth opportunities with our current and future customers. Getting Inventive Ventures on board will allow us to realize much of the potential we have identified in new areas of the business that will grow our lead as the highest quality Nordic supplier. I’m also thrilled that Lasse Larvanko, the General Partner of Inventive Ventures, accepted to join the board, bringing his vast skills of digital sales and marketing along with him, which has an essential strategic importance for us.”

” We usually invest in platform and SaaS companies. Repair service business has long been an underinvested industry, and with negligence towards the supply-chain and environmental matters. We see huge growth opportunity in mcare’s vision to combine repair services and monthly recurring revenue as a platform.” Says Lasse Larvanko, GP of Inventive Ventures, who joins the board of directors of mcare’s parent company Core Service.

mcare is a Finnish 10-year-old startup that started as an Apple repair company and is expanding to service many new brands in Nordic markets. In addition to the highest quality repair and RMA service offering, mcare provides a full set of lifecycle handling services, including well-received service contracts (mcare SLA+) and highly competitive buyback services.

” We have successfully expanded our business in 2019 with all of our major customer groups; insurance, walk-in, business customers, and telcos. In 2020 we aim to exceed 35M€ revenue reaching a growth rate of more than 50% with an even stronger focus on serving all of our customers better than ever. As an authorized service provider, mcare brings the highest quality services available for everyone with a controlled supplier and environmental responsibility but yet with very competitive pricing.” Continues Karin Ahl, the group CEO of mcare.
