Kudos to Chalmers Formula Student!

CPAC Systems proudly congratulates the Chalmers Formula Student (CFS) 2016 on scoring the highest among all the electric teams and 6th overall at the Formula Student competition held recently at SIlverstone UK. Over 130 teams from 33 different nations participated in the race.

Formula Student is the largest engineering competition in the world with the aim of creating better engineers by giving the students hands-on experience. Every competing team designs, manufactures and tests a vehicle with which they then compete against other teams in several different events – all of this takes place during less than a year. There are both dynamic events such as endurance and acceleration, and static events where the cost of manufacturing and the business idea of the project are presented to the judges. Overall, the car and the competitions are the means used to develop our engineering skills.

CPAC Systems has for several years now been a partner of the Chalmers Formula Students project.

"Chalmers Formula Student is the closest students come to running an innovative and target-focused company while applying all the theoretical skills they've acquired. We sponsor the project as it's exactly in line with what we do at CPAC Systems - combining entrepreneurship and creativeness with brilliant engineering. We believe it's extremely important that we encourage today's youth to keep this spirit of innovative engineering alive, especially in Sweden," says Martin Ryd, head of strategy at CPAC.
