Cyclife Sweden AB is a company within the EDF Group specialised in providing services to the domestic and international nuclear industry, as well as other activities involving ionizing radiation. The key competence is volume reduction of radioactive waste.
In the metal business, which is the largest operations, the material is treated through separation of radioactivity, extensive controls and finally the production of raw material for new products in accordance with the principle of retention. Approximately 95% of the treated metal is recycled.
Cyclifes´ facilities have served domestic and international customers for more than 40 years. Large complex components, up to 400 tons and up to 30 meters long, can be received and processed for recycling of the metal. Safety and responsibility for people, wild animals and the environment is the highest priority for Cyclife Sweden. Material and energy recycling is highly prioritized within the business.
