Wine Spectator awards the outstanding elegance and the refinement of Piper-Heidsieck!

In its January edition of the newsletter Insider, Wine Spectator gives a very special place to two of Piper-Heidsieck champagnes:

Cuvée Brut NV awarded 92 points!

Vintage 2008 awarded 93 points!

With these excellent results they join Insider’s selection of best champagnes. Called "Vibrant" and "Bright", they represent the Maison’s spirit in the best way possible and play their part in its already long prize list. We are really proud of this recognition and hope the year 2017 will sustain this momentum.

Created in 1785, Piper-Heidsieck is part of EPI Group owned by Christopher Descours.

In line with the wines that we produce - and the time necessary for the meticulous and loving vinification – Piper-Heidsieck represents an enticing, languorous seduction, in contrast with the hurried act of bodily desire. Piper-Heidsieck is the champagne of those who prefer hidden mystery to the obvious.

History is a fabric woven of encounters, the fruit of all the stories it comprises. Florens-Louis Heidsieck created his first vintage in 1785 for Agathe Perthois. The fruit of a love story, our House has kept alive this memory for more than two centuries, combining ambition with expertise, passion with the character of those who founded the Piper-Heidsieck legend. As a result of these unions, we build upon Henri-Guillaume Piper’s marketing talents and his wife’s surname, the audacity of the Marquis Suarez d’Aulan and the passion of the Descours family.
