Findability Day 2012, Stockholm

Findability Day is a one-day conference that gives a platform for practitioners, within enterprise search and findability, to meet and share their experiences. It is also an opportunity to learn and get input from other practitioners. All presentations will be made by experts and practitioners. In this presentation Martin White sets out the business case for ensuring that your organisation has made an appropriate level of investment in both search technology and a search support team, based on his Search Check search benchmarking methodology. Martin White has been involved in the search business since the mid-1970s. He set up Intranet Focus Ltd in 1999 and specialises in intranet and information management strategy development. Martin has been a Visiting Professor at the iSchool, University of Sheffield since 2002. He has written two books on enterprise search, and is in the process of writing a book on enterprise search for O’Reilly Publishing. He is the Chairman of the Enterprise Search Europe conference. Results from the Enterprise Search and Findability Survey Kristian Norling will present the findings from the global survey on Enterprise Search implementations. Previously presented at Enterprise Search Summit in New York and Enterprise Search Europe in London. Kristian Norling has been working in the intranet, webtech and search business since 2001 as a communications manager, IT-strategist and webmaster. Before joining Findwise he was an IT-strategist at Region Västra Götaland, setting web technology strategy and product owner of search.
