Second Asian FundedByMe crowdfunding campaign reaches 310% - six days left to join

Press Release   •   Nov 14, 2016 11:26 CET

Scandinavia’s largest equity crowdfunding platform, FundedByMe, today confirmed that iTalent, it’s second equity campaign for FundedByMe Malaysia, has reached 310% of its total goal. The campaign, which original goal was to raise €86,500 still has six days left before closing. This campaign success follows on the announcement two weeks ago that the Securities Commission in Malaysia has awarded one of six registrations to operate Peer-to-Peer crowdfunding in the region to FundedByMe Malaysia.

“Malaysia – and most of South-East Asia is seeing an explosion in crowdfunding,” says Daniel Daboczy, CEO and co-founder of FundedByMe. “FundedByMe is one of the few truly global crowdfunding platforms positioned as the bridge between Scandinavia and Asia as we early-on saw the trend of cross-border investments.” Halal Speed Dating, the first equity crowdfunding campaign from FundedByMe Malaysia, closed successfully with 40% of investors into that campaign originating from Europe. iTalent, has registered interest to invest from investors in 73 different countries.

iTalent, an enterprise digital HR company that sells affordable people management solutions to business, will be open for investors on FundedByMe for another six days.
