Fyndiq.se celebrates its 4th birthday and one million placed orders with a 24h free shipment campaign
The bargain super store, which is connected to more than thousand merchants in Sweden, celebrates the major milestone by acknowledging the customer behind the millionth order, and at the same time celebrates its fourth birthday with a 24 hour free shipment campaign on September 25, for customers when selecting Klarna Faktura as pay method.
The woman behind the millionth order was none less than Emma, a 27-year-old student from Uppsala, who in July placed the millionth order while purchasing a shell to her iPad mini. Fyndiq’s co-founder and CMO, Fredrik Norberg, surprised Emma with an out-of-the-blue phone call, giving her a gift certificate to a value of 5000 SEK in addition to reimbursing the millionth order of 237 SEK.
“I was very surprised by his call, I was actually in the middle of work and did not really get why he wanted to talk to me,” said Emma. “Now, in hindsight, I’m super happy to have placed the millionth order!”
Mr Norberg said that the landmark, as well as a fourth birthday, is significant for any venture capital start up.
“We are scaling very fast, and moments like these makes us realize how far we have come which makes us truly ecstatic. We are greatful to all our merchants, cutomers, and all the hard work that lies behind this milestone.” Fredrik Nordberg said.
Fyndiq.se has during its four years on the Swedish market established an appreciated presence among Swedish bargain hunters, and is currently planning on breaking new markets internationally.
