Sven-Olof Bodenfors, born in 1946, is Senior Advisor for the F&B Group. He is also CEO of consultancy company Bodenfors Case AB.
 
Graduated an Industrial Designer in 1970, and after five years of succesful design business, Sven-Olof Bodenfors converted to advertising and brand communication work in the mid-seventies. He soon became an acknowledged creative in the Swedish advertising- and media landscape.
 
In 1986, he founded Forsman & Bodenfors in Gothenburg together with childhood friend Art Director Staffan Forsman built on the strong idea of providing long term brand consistency, combining world class creativity with long-lasting business relations with Swedens top clients, eg. Volvo and Ikea.
 
Within the 17 years of Sven-Olof’s leadership as CEO, the F&B Group grow from five to more than one hundred employees, counting over twenty equal partners and new specialist companies like design agency Happy F&B and retail consultancy Kollo.
 
F&B is today a well-respected agency group worldwide and internationally top-ranked for more than two decades, F&B is holding an outstanding collection of International creativity awards, including Grand Prix from Cannes Cyber Lions, Eurobest NY Festivals, ADC etc. Sven-Olof has served in several international juries like D&AD, NY Festivals, Cannes Lions (both Film and Press Juries) and was also the jury president for Eurobest in 2003.
 
Today he runs his own consultancy in brand- and communication driven business development strategies named Bodenfors Case, often in close co-operation with design companies like Happy and communication- and PR strategists like Grayling where he alson serve as advisor to the CEO.
 
Sven-Olof is former chairman of HDK (School of Crafts and Design in University of Gothenburg), Design & Research Network, The National Council for Architecture, Form & Design and recently the Swedish Goverment’s expert panel on development of Cultural and Creative Industries. For almost a decade he was in the board of Swedish Trade Council.
 
He is chairman for the Gothenburg International Film Festival and Lots Design & Innovation, he is board member of Stampen Media Group and their subsidiaries in events, sponsoring, gamification, and also serve in the board of Bergsala AB (Nintendo) game publishers and game developers.
