New nominations for Goodbye Kansas

The success saga of the “Cyberpunk 2077” trailer continues. Now, the cinematic game trailer – produced by Goodbye Kansas in close collaboration with CD Projekt Red – has been nominated for “Best Game Cinematic” at the Animago Awards.

The trailer has so far been viewed over 55 million times, and when Goodbye Kansas and CD Projekt Red released a Behind-The-Scenes-film about the production, it soon got around one million views online.

The “Cyberpunk 2077” trailer has also been shortlisted for two awards at the annual Shots Awards Europe: “Best online commercial over 2 minutes” and “Best use of animation in a commercial”.

Two other Goodbye Kansas productions are also shortlisted for Shots Awards Europe. Last year’s launch trailer for “Overkill’s The Walking Dead” is shortlisted for “Best online commercial over 2 minutes” and the Volvo commercial “The E.V.A. Commercial” is shortlisted for “Best Television commercial of the year over 60 seconds”.

The Volvo commercial was produced by New Land for Forsman & Bodenfors and the Goodbye Kansas expertise in Motion Capture and VFX was a perfect fit for director Laerke Herthoni’s vision of the film. The campaign has already been awarded several times, including a Grand Prix at this year’s Cannes Lions.
