The Real Stevia Company, Granular AB, Continues Leading Position within the ISC
The Real Stevia Company is happy to announce that Zanna McFerson from Cargill will take over as President of the International Stevia Council (ISC) as of October 17, 2012. The new leading team of the ISC was elected at last week’s Annual General Assembly in Stockholm.
Founder of The Real Stevia Company, Carl Horn af Rantzien, has finished his term as President of the ISC after two eventful and successful years. Carl Horn af Rantzien will however continue his commitment to the board as he was re-elected to serve as vice president for the coming term. “It has been two incredibly exciting years as president of the ISC, especially since we finally managed to get Steviol Glycosides approved as food additive in Europe which is one of the biggest milestones in the stevia industry ever.”
Sebastian Winkelhaus from Verdure Science will continue to serve as treasurer and other new appointments to the board for the coming term are Larry Fernandes from Ingredion and Jordi Ferre from PureCircle. For more information about the ISC’s new leading team, please read more here.
