GWS reorganizes in order to boost sales
Global Warning System (GWS) declares new focus on sales activities in North and South America. Morgan Widung, former VP Sales and Marketing, has been appointed Head of Sales Americas, and will be dedicated to improve sales in these markets. Morgan Widung has extensive experience from sales in this geographical area.
This year GWS has positioned itself well geographically, by opening sales offices in Brazil, Malaysia, and by starting a subsidiary in Singapore. Sales have proved to be successful with increased geographical focus. Now the company takes its next step and will give more sales resources to the Americas by appointing Morgan Widung, former VP Sales and Marketing, Head of Sales Americas. Morgan will be responsible for developing sales in these markets.
Andreas Rodman, CEO of GWS, will take on an overall sales responsibility, and he comments on the organizational change:
“We are a tight organization with a global mission. We need to put extra focus on our sales in the Americas, and the best-suited person with the best qualifications in this field is Morgan Widung. Now we will create the right conditions for him to focus, and at the same time we reinforce the organization with a position that will take on the overall marketing responsibility. With these changes we will be able to focus and get the most out of our activities in terms of efficiency.”
Morgan Widung’s appointment as Head of Sales Americas will be effective immediately.
