GWS signs contract with German Business Protection GmbH (GBP)

GWS has signed a partnership contract with German Business Protection (GBP), the personal security specialist within the KÖTTER group. The KÖTTER group is a large security service provider in Germany with approximately 16.700 employees. The agreement with GBP is based on revenue sharing and GBP will offer the GWS Safeture Pro service to their existing and potential business clients.

Safeture is a personal security service when traveling, which provides critical information about disasters and other threats, directly in the traveler’s smartphone through an app that is easily downloaded. GBP provides integrated risk management focusing on security and compliance to companies, administrations, non-government organizations (NGOs) and private individuals. The partnership means that GBP adds the Safeture Pro service concept to their product portfolio, which will open up the extensive German market and facilitate GWS’ growth initiatives. This market is important, not the least since the German population is among those who spend most money in the world on traveling, and the importance of traveling safely is increasing when the economy and the traveling behavior grows more and more global. Andreas Rodman, CEO at GWS, comments on the contract:

“One of our focus areas for expansion is the personal security segment, and the German market is strategically important for us. GBP is a preferred partner in this respect, offering a long experience within this field on the market, and with a focus on preventing harm at an early stage, which is matching the Safeture service offering perfectly. We are really looking forward to grow our business in Germany together with GBP.”

The mobile-based Safeture Pro solution will add value to the GBP product offering in several aspects:

“We are delighted to partner with GWS as this adds significantly to our travel-security services which we are already offering in the German speaking markets. The tracking service we can now offer our clients significantly improves travel-security for our customers in an increasingly uncertain and insecure world,” says Maxim Worcester, CEO at German Business Protection GmbH.
