The Long Road of Innovation and Horatio’s Drive

Greetings,

Today I gave a presentation about the ‘history’ of Gynius and our innovation process to Stockholms läns landsting (county). It gave me an opportunity to reflect about the process from turning an idea into a physical product. I can confidently say that two of the most important elements in the innovation/development process is being persistent and having a mission.

I also shared the story of Horatio Jackson – the first person to drive a car across the United States. I learned about Horatio’s story from this documentary: http://www.pbs.org/horatio/. It is a great example of persistence (imagine driving across the US without any paved roads) and mission. I highly recommend watching it if you have the opportunity.
