Open Lecture: the Situation in Haiti – a Catastrophe with an Opportunity for a New Start

Welcome to an open lecture at the Stockholm School of Economics on Tuesday, February 2, at 12.00-13.00 with Professor Mats Lundahl. How can the most immediate consequences of the catastrophe be remedied and what does it take to achieve a long-term durable rebuilding of Haiti? Mats Lundahl is the Director of the Center for International Economics and Geography at the Stockholm School of Economics. During some 40 years he has undertaken focused research on the economic development of Haiti.
