MBA scholars to strengthen Swedish competitiveness

Jennie Fahlström and Randolph Heyrowsky have been awarded the Carl Silfvén SSE MBA scholarships for 2019. The scholarships are given to the next generation of leaders to promote the competitiveness of Swedish-based business in an international market.

The Carl Silfvén SSE MBA scholarships are funded by the Carl Silfvén Foundation, based on the will of Carl Silfvén from 1914. The scholarships cover the full tuition fee of SEK 465,000 for the SSE MBA Executive Format program.

“We are very proud that the Carl Silfvén Foundation offers these scholarships,” says Karin Wiström, Director SSE MBA, Stockholm School of Economics. “We are convinced that Randolph Heyrowsky and Jennie Fahlström will bring best practices and state-of-the-art management knowledge back into their businesses and become leaders with a strategic and holistic understanding of management, working more efficiently in their organizations.”

Jennie Fahlström is Director and Curator at Sveriges Allmänna Konstförening (SAK), with a Master of Arts with a major in the History of Art:

"I would like to express my immense gratitude to the Carl Silfvén Foundation for giving me this opportunity. To participate in an education that combines academic theory with practice, leveraging the rich knowledge of the faculty with the broad experience of the participants from many different industries and with different backgrounds is all in order to create an extensive learning experience. I am confident that the Stockholm School of Economics MBA Executive Format program will provide a lot of facts, inspiration and reflection when it comes to developing organizations in a complex world. Randolph Heyrowsky is CEO Trainee & Executive Assistant at Daniel Wellington, with a Master Certificate in Hospitality Management:
"The Carl Silfvén Foundation has gifted me with a tremendous opportunity. This scholarship enables me to actively participate in the enriching and transformational SSE MBA Executive Format Program. An academic program with exceptional faculty and whose participants are practicing managers from diverse educational, industrial, and cultural backgrounds.
