Responsibility for Competitiveness – SSE's first progress report to PRME

Stockholm School of Economics became a member of PRME* 2013 and has now submitted its first progress report to the Secretariat. It includes information on development since signing up to PRME as well as the goals for the coming 24 months in line with PRM’s six principles.

In the report the President, Lars Strannegård, highlights three important initiatives since the school joined PRME.

  • The inauguration of the Mistra Center for Sustainable Markets (MISUM), on January 1, 2015.
  • The funding from the Global Challenges Foundation to redesign the Bachelor program around our times’ biggest sustainability challenges. It starts in 2016 and will focus on several of the global challenges throughout the three-year Bachelor program.
  • The decision that all SSE programs will either have mandatory courses in Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability or have clearly articulated integrated sessions in all courses by 2016.
