On the 20th of October, it will be 200 years to the day since the first Bernadotte set foot in Helsingborg and the realm where he would be King. King Carl XVI Gustaf, Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel and Prince Carl Philip of Sweden will be participating in Bicentennial Day festivities. Queen Margrethe II and Princess Benedikte of Denmark will also be joining in the celebrations.
The Royals will be present for the entire Bicentennial Day. The programme includes celebrations together with the people and with specially invited guests.
Press credentials are required if you wish to cover the Royal visit and gain access to the photo opportunities that have been established for the purpose.

A brief description of the programme for the Royal visit is enclosed. Please note that stated times do not include margins for transport, ferry times, checks of credentials in the press pools, etc. We will inform you of exact times and programmes for credentialed media after we have dealt with your request. At that time, we will also provide more detailed information about the various programme items.
