HTL hotels brings innovative hotel concept to Norway

This spring, HTL hotels introduced a completely new hotel concept in Stockholm, where the best city center location, high quality and attractive prices are offered in combination with a digital travel experience for today’s modern and discerning traveller. Now, HTL hotels is expanding with two new hotels in Oslo.

HTL hotels takes over Rica Travel and G20 Rica in Oslo and will refurbish them according to HTL hotels’ new concept. The hotels will open in early 2015. This is the continuation of an expansion where the goal is at least 20 hotels in the Nordic region within five years.

An innovative challenger

HTL hotels is a new hotel brand with a unique concept that involves centrally located hotels at great prices without compromising on quality and experience. The idea is based on space-efficient hotels where the gimmicks have all been removed, and quality raised on things, which hotel guests actually value.

With the cell phone as room key, easy check-in and booking 24 hours a day, HTL hotels offers guests a simplified digital and individual travel experience. The guest can choose if they want to check in on the way to the hotel and receive the key directly in their mobile, or to check in on a tablet at the hotel in a matter of seconds. HTL hotels’ key app also includes hotel information and a city guide.

Hosts and hostesses in the lounge have replaced the traditional front desk and are always available for hotel guests, to help with everything from giving city tips to serving food and drinks.

In the rooms guests can enjoy their own music or movies by connecting their device using Airplay or Miracast to the LED TV.

During the first four months HTL hotels have had the pleasure of welcoming guests from 80 different nations and on review sites, such as TripAdvisor, HTL hotels have already taken the top spot amongst hotels in Stockholm.
