Permascand acquires patents and brands in water treatment systems

“Water purification is one of our priority segments. We will adapt the new compact, combined electrofiltration system for different applications, especially in the Marine and Aquaculture areas,” says Lars Nyman, sales director for Water Treatment Systems at Permascand.

Many applications have precious little space for water treatment, so Permascand’s new water treatment system is extremely compact and lightweight, ideal for installation in narrow areas. All water flows through a single unit that combines filtering and electrochemical disinfection. This “One-Pass Single Unit” will be less expensive and easier for customers. It does not require the addition of any chemicals, because the chlorine necessary for the process is manufactured from the salt in the seawater.

“With this addition to our product portfolio, we will strengthen our key technology offering to existing clients and we also look forward to adapting the technology further for new applications,” says Fredrik Herlitz, CEO at Permascand.

The deal with Radical Filtration is another step in Permascand’s strategic focus on international growth in the Water Treatment business area.
