30 November, 2016.
The legendary Students’ Nobel NightCap (SNNC) has for many years been one of the main highlights at the Nobel festivities, where Nobel Laureates, academics and politicians get the opportunity to mingle with students. Today, Huawei announces a sponsorship of the SNNC. The sponsorship involves supporting the organizer THS, the Student Union of the Royal Institute of Technology, financially in their current and future ventures through innovation.

"Innovation has always been a great focus for Huawei. As such, to keep pushing the boundaries of what is possible, it’s very important for us to foster our cooperation with Swedish universities being in the forefront of technology. Today’s announcement is a testament of that and we are very proud to announce that Huawei is main sponsor of the Students Nobel NightCap.", says Carina Axelsson, Senior Public Relations Manager at Huawei Sweden.

Nearly half of Huawei’s staff worldwide works within research and development, and Huawei is today the company that files most patents in the world.

About the SNNC
The Students’ Nobel NightCap is the afterparty to the Nobel Banquet. The event is a celebration of the Nobel Laureates’ achievements and is annually hosted by one of the four most prominent students’ unions in Stockholm. This year, the honour of hosting the Students’ Nobel NightCap has come to the Student Union of the Royal Institute of Technology. In total, approximately 2000 guests are expected to attend and 350 students are currently in the process of planning the event.
