Hydro66 supports local young people as gold sponsors in entrepreneurship scheme
For 2018/2019 Hydro66 becomes a new gold partner with Ung Företagsamhet Norrbotten, part of the global Junior Achievement NGO, in its 100th year of helping young people develop business skills.
“Encouraging young entrepreneurs in technology and sustainability is important for them and also for regional development. Hydro66 are delighted to lend a helping hand where we can.” said Sara Grundstrom Business Development Manager leading the program for Hydro66.
“Research shows young entrepreneurs helped in this way are more likely to build more value in their future companies, which is a benefit to our whole community. We look forward to work with Ung Företagsamhet Norrbotten this year, together we create change.” Sara concluded.
Emelie Hjelte, Deputy Regional Manager at Ung Företagsamhet Norrbotten, is pleased with the new cooperation. “Getting Hydro66 as a partner for Ung Företagsamhet Norrbotten feels incredibly exciting. Together we can increase interest in both digitization and sustainability with our UF students. All of Norrbotten community will gain over time.” said Emilie.
Fanny Virén, CEO of Wrap It Up UF, won the regional competition in this year's sustainable UF company. She states “A partnership with Hydro66, I think promotes a sustainability mindset in more young entrepreneurs which is exciting and, above all, promising for the future.”
