Extension of the Wieland Zenostar Zirconia System

Customized esthetics now also in the anterior region with Wieland Zenostar MT

The Wieland Zenostar Zirconia System comprises a portfolio of coordinated materials for the universal fabrication of zirconium oxide restorations. The system has been extended to include yet another esthetic option for monolithic anterior restorations: Wieland Zenostar MT.

The new Zenostar disc with the designation MT (Medium Translucency) complements the existing portfolio perfectly. While Zenostar T monolithic restorations have mostly been used in the posterior region for esthetic reasons, Zenostar MT is also suitable for the fabrication of appealing anterior restorations. The product designation MT matches the Wieland Zenostar and IPS e.max product lines and indicates the compatibility with these two systems.

Coordinated systems

Wieland Zenostar MT will initially be available as a white disc (Zenostar MT0) with the corresponding colouring liquids. In addition to liquids in 16 A-D shades, the system also contains Effect shades for additional individualization. These materials have been enhanced to meet the growing requirements of esthetic anterior restorations. After sintering, restorations made from Zenostar MT can be further characterized using stains and glazes. IPS e.max Ceram and the new IPS Ivocolor assortment of stains and glazes, among other materials, are coordinated with Zenostar.

About Zenostar

Wieland Zenostar is a zirconium oxide system consisting of numerous components that are all fully coordinated with each other. The discs, the materials for further processing and the CAD/CAM workflow are compatible. Users also benefit from a completely validated and verified process.
