Swedish Jokkmokk intensifies datacenter aspirations

Jokkmokk Hydropowered Sites is introducing a plug-and-play ready site with 6 month’s time to market. The brownfield will initially be charged with 10 MW and equipped with three fiber connections.

- Power cables and fiber from access points are underway and the premises are being adapted for a TIER III interior HW solution with high resilience and low OPEX suitable for colo- or enterprise clients. It offers good on-site expansion- and ramp-up possibilities for a client, says Jonas Sukloed, Jokkmokk Hydropowered Sites.

Jokkmokk Hydropowered Sites offers clients to use their own preferred design, as well as the latest possible technology included in turnkey packages.

Ability to offer a wide range of package alternatives requires both a strong back-office apparatus and a responsive client dialogue. Delivery capability is therefore always in focus.

The northern Sweden conditions combined with the latest HW technology offers DC clients TCOs that are very competitive on a global scale.

- Jokkmokk is part of a continuously expansive region. We are presently intensifying ongoing work to introduce further competitive sites of various sizes, all with the common denominator of 100% renewable energy, low PUEs, free air cooling 365 days per year and the opportunity to use modular architecture for resilience and cost reduction. These are competitive arguments, especially combined with short TTMs.
