U.S. Polo Association – new menswear collection at KappAhl

The U.S. Polo Association was formed in 1890, and for many years the name has been a well-established international clothing brand. The collection, aimed at men between the ages of 30 and 50, consists of classic leisurewear in a modern style. KappAhl has now acquired the rights to sell the U.S. Polo Association brand in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Poland.

“The launch of the U.S. Polo Association brand helps us to meet increased demand from our customers for leisurewear that combines a relaxed look with more exclusive styling and materials,” says Paul Frankenius, Executive Vice President at KappAhl. “This will increase interest in our menswear department and make the range more attractive.”

U.S. Polo Association apparel finds its inspiration in the well-dressed casual look that originated on the eastern seaboard of the United States – relaxed, timeless styling that outlives fleeting fads and trends. The collection consists mainly of jeans, chinos, shirts, sweaters and jackets, but also includes underwear, socks, ties and caps. The hallmarks of the collection are high quality and a good finish, and, as always at KappAhl, the price is very attractive.

The U.S. Polo Association brand will be on sale in all 240 KappAhl stores from 6th October 2003.
