And welcome to Bagni Misteriosi where Konstfack University of Arts, Craft and Design shows the future of public furnishing.

Every space has a different need, yet most of our public outdoor spaces are furnished in a similar manner. How can we create a more diverse public environment? Our endeavour is to explore the diversity of outdoor spaces, investigating materials, lighting,applications, the sculptural aspect of furniture, and the intersection between public and private.

Students at Konstfack, in their final year of the Bachelor’s programme of Interior Architecture and Furniture Design, present you with a diverse line-up of new objects, exploring benches, soft seating, lighting and the use of existing elements to enhance the connection between nature and furniture. You will also be presented with sculptural and flexible outdoor furniture for varied purposes.

Meet the participating students August Orsvall, Dario Samardzic, Emma Hamilton, Freja Ullert, Helena Gahnhed and Oscar Lidgren + the responsible teachers.

You will also have the chance to get to know students from Malmsten Linköping University manifesting pine, the wood-promoting organisation Svenskt Trä (Swedish Wood) and the magazine Tidskriften Rum launching its new, thick international edition in English.
