Various practitioners offer a rich and diverse programme with lectures, seminars and workshops on/with practical knowledge, artistic research, performance lectures, site visits, and films. After two days introducing research and highlighting the doctoral programme it unfolds through a parallel program of trans-institutional nodes. These will engage in questions around essayistic practice, interweaving narratives, the notion of cladding, forms of thought, matter and becoming, love, collectivity and solidarity.

Learn about the basics and infrastructure of research and the Konstfack and KTH Royal Institute of Technology's joint doctoral programme Art, Technology and Design. Engage in exercises in materials, decoration, diffraction and intersectionality, and discuss the relation between contemporary art, visual arts teaching education, craft, design, interior architecture and visual communication.

Meet Konstfack teachers, researchers, PhD-students and invited guests including Jessica Hemmings, Darla Crispin, Mara Lee, Matt Raw, Magnus Haglund, Ann-Marie Tung Hermelin, Esther Peeren, Endoplasmic Materialism, Irmgard Emmelhainz, Annie Lowe, Vera Knútsdóttir, Päivi Ernqvist, Gunilla Edemo, Saadia Hussein, Lisa Nyberg, Bronwyn Bailey-Charteris, Fia-Stina Sandlund, Einat Amir, Sophie Vukovic and Thomas Keenan.
