Lesjöfors tecknar medlemskap i internationellt fjäderteknologiskt center

Från och med 2011 är samtliga Lesjöforsföretag medlemmar i organisationen Institute of Spring Technology (IST). IST är ett oberoende, internationellt center för mekanisk fjäderteknologi.

Lesjöfors har länge samarbetat med och utnyttjat tjänster från the Institute of Spring Technology (IST) i brittiska Sheffield. Nu har alla bolag i Lesjöforskoncernen tecknat medlemskap i IST.

Nyheter och tester inom fjäderutveckling
För medlemsföretagen tillhandahåller IST laboratoriemiljöer speciellt anpassade för mekaniska fjädertester, från materialutredningar till prestandatester av produkter. IST-medlemskapet ger också många andra fördelar som till exempel tillgång till tekniska rapporter och en databas med internationellt publicerade tekniska rapporter, tjänster som rör material- och fjäderstandarder och ett nyhetsbrev med de senaste tekniska nyheterna och utvecklingsprojekten. IST utvecklar också mjukvara för design och dimensionering av olika fjädertyper.

Medlemskatalogen ger också möjligheter att marknadsföra Lesjöforskoncernen till andra företag världen över.

Institute of Spring Technology membership
From 2011, all companies in the Lesjöfors Group are members of the IST. The institute is an international and independent centre for mechanical spring technology.

Lesjöfors has for a long time collaborated with and used services offered by the Institute of Spring Technology located in Sheffield UK. Now all companies within the Lesjöfors Group have joined the institute as members.  

News and tests within spring development
The institute provides specific mechanical spring laboratory capacity, from material investigations to product performance tests. The membership also gives a number of other advantages, access to technical reports and a database with international published technical reports, service regarding material and spring standards and a newsletter with the latest technical news and developments. The institute also develops software for design and dimensioning of different types of spring.

The membership directory also gives the opportunity to publish and promote the Lesjöfors Group around the world.
