P-Floyd celebrates anniversary at Dalhalla!

The celebrated tributeband P-Floyd, who has made a name for themselves playing most personal and heartful interpretations of the music Pink Floyd, will for the fifth time lay out suggestive moody notes in the legendary ancient limestonequarry Dalhalla, Sweden. More than 40 000 people have come to see the previous shows to experience the uniqe atmosphere for which both the band and Dalhalla are famous for, so you could not find a better, more suitable combination.

A to say the least powerful and mighty experience awaits on the nights of the 8 and 9 of august since the band is known to trigger all senses at their appearances. A huge lightproduction aswell as music from all decades and eras of Pink Floyd, the early psychadelica, the classic monumental albums that carved them into music history forever, Wish you were here, Dark side of the moon and the Wall, the heavy songs from the nineties, all is represented when the band takes on the stage, even music from the originalmembers soloalbums. The old stonewalls will quiver i their very foundations and you will fing more than mosquitoes flying about in the air in the honour of the anniversay.

P-Floyd does not only perform their own versions of the music from one of historys greatest, most influental and important rock bands, they treat the music almost as their own, when they constantly seek change and progress, but not to much. The iconic status of the songs are treated with outmost care and gentleness whether one visits Pompeii or the moon.

Many of the lyrics of Pink Floyd contains strong and thought-provoking messages concerning the dark sides of mankind, which is something that P-Floyd makes use of at Dalhalla when they bring focus to the very seroius matters that haunts the world today, which makes the classic songmaterial just as up to date today as it was when it was written many years ago.
