Press release -
Monokel Eyewear SS19 Collection; Swedish Handcrafted Design
Continuing to reject complicated practices in every aspect of the design and manufacturing process, the Monokel Eyewear SS19 collection stays true to their original ethos - creating timeless, sustainable and understated eyewear, made to be worn.
Taking a step back, the designers set out to create a range in the way they did in the beginning, not worrying about anything except creating a simple, sustainable product that they would be excited to wear and share with their friends.
This season presents three new designs; Aki, Luna and Rio. Aki is a stark style that features wide arms and sits lower down on the bridge of the nose. Working with a modest size, Aki is offered in five colourways. Adding a new rounded, half-moon model to the catalogue, the Luna style features a lightweight, stainless steel frame. The final new addition, Rio, is a rounded style with stainless steel frames - creating an undeniably classic design. Rio was created to work with all face shapes, making this one a perfect choice for your everyday frames.
Never compromising on quality, Monokel Eyewear continue to work with renowned manufacturers Carl Zeiss, the name behind the 100% UV protective lenses, and respected Italian acetate producers Mazzucchelli.
Price ranges from €99 to €135
