NetClean takes second place in this year's Deloitte Fast 50

When Deloitte's annual Fast 50 award for the fastest growing technology companies in Sweden was presented yesterday for the eighth time, NetClean took home the silver medal. NetClean is a world leader in technical solutions for preventing the spread of child sexual abuse content and has over the past five years seen a total growth of 3110 per cent.

- We are very proud of our position as one of the fastest growing technology companies in Sweden. Our cause drives us on - we want to be active in as many markets as possible in order to make the Internet as sound and safe as possible. Consequently, growth and expansion are naturally engrained in our business concept, says Christian Sjöberg, CEO of NetClean.

NetClean won Deloitte's Rising Star award in 2008 - an objective ranking of the 25 fastest growing Swedish technology companies that have been operative for between three and five years. Rising Star companies are growth companies with the potential to become a Fast 50 company, a title NetClean now deserves.

- NetClean's rapid growth is primarily a result of excellent team work. The company's present day position can be accredited to our highly competent and versatile personnel. A growth of 3110 per cent in five years entails continual development, which in turn entails working under ever changing conditions and taking on new tasks. This places high demands on personnel, says Christian Sjöberg.

NetClean has also been nominated for the international Deloitte Fast 500 EMEA award, which means that it is one of the fastest growing companies in Europe. The prize giving is on 25 November in London.
