Bulls Licensing representing Downton Abbey in the Nordic countries, the Baltics and in Russia

Critically acclaimed British TV series, Downton Abbey has been a global hit since it first graced screens in 2010. Home to the aristocratic Crawley family and their servants, Downton Abbey follows their lives from the sinking of the Titanic in 1912 through the First World War and into the early 1920s.

As of 2013, Downton Abbey is PBS/MASTERPIECE’s highest rating series of all time. In Sweden, the drama averages 1.2 million viewers per episode.

“- Downton Abbey is one of the biggest TV sensations of the last decade, and we see great licensing potential for it in our territories. The TV ratings show that there is a large following for the series in the Nordic countries, and we have already been approached by several companies about licensing collaborations targeting the fan market. Among the licensing categories being discussed is home & garden, beauty, fashion, food and beverage. We are very excited to see the fan response to the upcoming Downton Abbey products,” says Anna Lawrence, Brand Director at Bulls Licensing.
