Proplate strengthens its international presence with the appointment of a new Sales Manager

With immediate effect Ian Hardy has become the new Sales Manager at Proplate. With 30 years of experience in the steel industry, he looks forward to leading the efforts of the team to further strengthen Proplate's position on the international market.

Ian, who has worked with Proplate since 2016, has extensive experience in the steel industry, a valuable international network and significant experience of working with Swedish companies. He was previously CEO of Spartan UK, as well as General Manager for Outokompu Plate Service Centre Group with six steel service centres across Europe.

Former manager Johan Törnqvist advances to the position of Senior Technical Advisor. This means that Proplate strengthens its focus on the development of technological solutions in conjunction with our customers.

“The new organization will give us more capacity and greater opportunities to develop our customer relationships and business opportunities" says Sales Manager Ian Hardy. We will continue to work closely with our customers to identify solutions and develop our business.

In connection with the appointment of Ian Hardy to Sales Manager other changes have been implemented in Proplate Oxelösund's management.

Johan Törnqvist moves from Sales Manager to become Senior Technical Advisor. Current Production Manager Fredrik Döring takes over the role of Site Manager for Proplate Oxelösund, while former Site Manager Johan Björklund becomes CFO of Proplate AB and thus Finance Manager for the Group. Henrik Nordlöf continues his key work as IT Manager and Max Björk remains CEO.
