Project Soar is A non-profit organization that empowers teen girls to be the leaders of today and tomorrow. 40 Project Soar chapters support nearly 1000 teen girls across Morocco.

Today, on Giving Tuesday, Project Soar has launched a campaign on the Global Giving platform to raise funds for its Empowerment Headquarters in a village outside Marrakech. Teen girls from 24 semi-rural communities attend empowerment workshops, academic support, and Girl Leader Club meetings here every week. But these walls are more than a building - they represent a safe place for girls to develop confidence and learn valuable leadership skills so they can help change the world.

About Project Soar: Project Soar is non-profit 501(c)3 organization, registered in the U.S. and Morocco. The organization provides 30 workshops to empower teenage girls in the developing world. The program is based off the 5 Pillars of Empowerment, which embody our beliefs that every girl should have the opportunity to know her Value, Voice, Body, Rights and Path. The goal is to raise girls’ self-esteem, keep them in school and prepare them for more productive, fulfilled futures.

About Giving Tuesday: Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world on December 3, 2019 and every day. It was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past seven years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
