Scandinavian Photo initiates cooperation with Crazy Pictures

Crazy Pictures is a film collective from Norrköping and a major success on youtube with their socially critical short films. With 13 million views online and major Swedish commercials for Media Markt and Fazer in their portfolio, Crazy Pictures is now preparing for its biggest project ever: a feature film. Last fall, Crazy Pictures hit a Swedish kickstarter record when their crowdfunding campaign for the film reached SEK 350 000 in less than 24 hours. Scandinavian Photo entered a collaboration with Crazy Pictures and will supply camera equipment for the recording of the movie.

The new feature film called "The blomstertid now", takes place in Sweden which is under attack at the present time. The recordings will begin in February and Scandinavian Photo is entering as a partner to Crazy Pictures.

- We are very pleased about the partnership - Crazy Pictures is a creative collective that creates great movies and in addition, are very transparent sharing their knowledge. They represent a new type of filmmakers and a target group that is very important to us. Scandinavian Photo’s passion and mission is to get people to create more with photography and film, and that mission fits well with the work of Crazy Pictures, who invites the audience on the web to be a part of the film making, says Maria Göransdotter Lindén, CMO at Scandinavian Photography.

Crazy Pictures has over 68 000 subscribers on YouTube and lets their audience get behind the scenes - and closer to the film production than we've ever been able to do before - through films and images.
