Sentient and Semcon join forces internationally

Sentient strengthens its international presence in key markets through a collaboration partnership with Semcon, a leading automotive consultant company.

“Above all, we will be able to respond to an increased customer demand in a quick and efficient way”, says Per Adolfsson, co-operative director at Sentient. “Semcon is already well established in the global automotive industry, and we – and our customers - will benefit from their expertise and extensive engineering services.”

Sentient and Semcon will work together on the implementation of Sentient’s patented Driver Torque Principle in selected top priority markets, such as Germany. Both companies see the advantages of working together; Semcon’s customers get direct access to the steering control technology, and Sentient gets a qualified partner and a direct link to important markets.

“Although the automotive industry is global, local presence is important”, says Per Adolfsson. “And that Semcon chooses to collaborate with us is a true seal of approval”.

A world leading truck manufacturer has already implemented the Driver Torque Principle in its steering system, and drivers who have tried the new system have been impressed, the reports tell.
