Jonas Bohlin joins Smart Refill as new CTO

Smart Refill, a leading provider of web-based and mobile solutions for the telecom and fintech sector, has recruited Jonas Bohlin as the company’s new Chief Technical Officer. Jonas Bohlin was most recently Product Manager at Sweden’s largest housing site Hemnet. Besides previous positions at EpiServer and Handelsbanken, Jonas Bohlin is also the co-founder of e-signing provider Assently and founder of advertising agency The Amazing Society. He brings extensive experience to the role and will become a member of Smart Refill’s management team.

Since its start in 2006, the Swedish development company Smart Refill has been on a steady growth path in telecom and fintech. In 2017, Smart Refill reached 668 MSEK in turnover. The ambition is to accelerate the expansion of the company, both in Sweden and internationally. As part of the strategy to stay at the cutting edge of digital services, Smart Refill has recruited Jonas Bohlin as the new CTO.

In his most recent position as Product Manager at housing site Hemnet, Jonas Bohlin worked with identifying new business opportunities, managing strategic initiatives and managing the daily work of the development teams. Prior to this, he was co-founder of Assently, that provides e-signing solutions to banks, insurance companies, telecom operators, and retail companies. Jonas Bohlin’s background has given him extensive experience in working with high requirements on security, quality and fraud prevention, combined with a strong understanding of customer usability.
